      Every h × runs

One route per departure: the time set above, then each increment later. The earliest departure is the primary route; isochrones are shown for it alone.

Run 1 sails the boat exactly as configured in Boat setup — its current day and night speed scales — and each further run adds the steps to that. The unvaried boat is the primary route; isochrones are shown for it alone.

One route per forecast: the Forecast row's pick, then each row here. Only forecasts covering both start and destination can be added. The Forecast row's pick is the primary route; isochrones are shown for it alone.

Run 1 sails the angle limits exactly as set in Boat setup — its current limits — and each further run adds the steps to that. A side that is off in Boat setup is not stepped (its step field is dimmed until the limit is switched on). The unvaried limits are the primary route; isochrones are shown for it alone.

In debug mode results are loaded from static/data; use the standalone build to run routings from here.

No routes yet — run a routing and its result appears here. The last 8 runs stay; Save keeps one for good.

            Not for navigation

This is a sailing route planning tool. It must not be used for navigation.

It uses the isochrone method to find the fastest route your boat’s polar allows — not the safest. A responsible skipper weighs many other factors when planning a route.

It sees forecast wind, currents and OSM coastlines, and nothing else: the map is a coastline, not a chart — no depths, no marks, no small islands.

Forecast data are downloaded from official provider portals and converted for this app; I cannot guarantee that they are correct or up to date.

Use the forecast data and calculated routes as a reference only and at your own risk. For navigation you must use official forecasts and nautical charts.
